Subject: MISTI Internships for Course 7 in Korea

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

* What: Summer 2014 internships in Korea, all expenses paid + competitive stipend/salary.

* Who: Biology undergrads in with ~2 years language training or equivalent experience, and grads with or without language.

* Where: R&D centers of the Korea Institute of Science & Technology<http://eng.kist.re.kr/kist_eng/?sub_num=409> (click to explore!) and Samsung Electronics

* When: 9-12 weeks (or longer) from May/June to August 2014.

* How: Simple. Go to http://web.mit.edu/misti/students/apply.html, upload a resume, and make an appointment to chat w/ Matt. Or just email him.

* Why: Because intensive international experience is critical professionally and personally. And because Korea’s amazing! Nowhere will you experience the same sights, sounds, and culture of a country whose exceptional achievements and transformative changes over the last 50 years have led to ancient history mixed with cutting-edge modernity, technological achievement conjoined with traditional Confucianism. Korea is fun, challenging, and off the beaten path.
