IDEAS Global Challenge Deadline – Submit a Scope Statement and apply for a Development Grant!
SUBMIT BY Wednesday, January 22; 11:59PM
Working on an innovative project that makes a positive change in the world?
Start a team and enter the IDEAS Global Challenge for a chance to win up to $10k per team to make your idea a reality. Submit today and apply for a Development Grant. All teams must submit a Scope Statement to be considered for the final round of proposals; the last two chances to submit are Jan 22 and February 25. Teams who are eligible will be invited to submit a Final Proposal on April 4. Teams must be led by a full-time MIT student and must demonstrate that MIT students have made a significant contribution to the project.

GRANTS FOR FACULTY, STAFF, and STUDENTS: The MIT Community Service Fund gives grants to support the public service initiatives of MIT faculty, staff, students, and retirees.
MIT staff, graduate and undergraduate students, faculty, and retirees are eligible to apply for CSF grants to support their personal public service initiatives, which include programs that they run or would like to start, or projects that they want to work on that enhance the public service work of an existing organization or school.

Community Service Work-Study
Information Session: Monday, February 10 at noon, PDR1
Attend a student employment information session to learn about finding a job through Community Service Work-Study: an opportunity for students with Federal work-study to give back to the community and earn a paycheck. Students who qualify for Federal work-study are able to add to their work experience while assisting nonprofit organizations with finding creative solutions to the problems they face. Learn about working at the Science Club for Girls, Girls’ Angle, Tutors for All, and many other organizations.
