“Some people ask me why I never stay in shelters. The Boston shelters are a meat market where the strong prey on the weak, the scared, and the lonely. I have seen way too many injustices and frankly I feel safer on my own. In street life you are alone anyway and can trust only yourself."-TC, 21-years old, homeless
Interested in social entrepreneurship? Want to make a difference in the lives of homeless youth?
Join a new initiative that is working to build a new youth housing program that will:
* Double the number of youth shelter beds in Boston;
* Offer permanent solutions for homeless youth; and
* Serve as a model for replication across the country.
