Sigma Xi, founded in 1886, is a non-profit honor society with over 500 chapters across US universities and colleges. More than 200 winners of the Nobel Prize are Sigma Xi members, including Enrico Fermi, Linus Pauling, Francis Crick, James Watson, and Albert Einstein.
MIT has historically been one of the largest chapters of the national organization. MIT Sigma Xi will also be affiliated with the MIT Undergraduate Research Journal (MURJ).
This is an opportunity to be part of a founding executive board of the undergraduate-focused MIT Sigma Xi Chapter! All majors are welcome!
