Dear students -

The Biology Undergraduate Committee is soliciting nominations from faculty for students to speak at the Biology Undergraduate Research Symposium on Thursday, January 30th from 12-5pm. The Symposium is a means to honor top students for outstanding research effort. The committee will select students to submit an abstract and present a talk on their research.

If you would like to speak at the Symposium, please contact your faculty supervisor and mentor, especially if you are working in a nonBiology faculty member's lab. Any course 7 or 6/7 student who is doing a UROP, participating in a project lab, or taking 7.18 is eligible to be nominated. Letters from your faculty supervisor and mentor are due to the Education Office (jdchang at mit.edu<mailto:jdchang at mit.edu>) by Wednesday, November 20th.

Best wishes,
Janice Chang
For the Undergraduate Committee
