Hello,
My name is Laird Bloom (course 7G, ’93). I am writing because I am looking for a student to spend a summer internship in my lab at Pfizer in Cambridge. My group is responsible for screening for potential antibody therapeutics, and we’re looking for someone to join us in optimizing a robotic system for small-scale antibody purification. My group is involved in projects in oncology, hematology, neuroscience, and inflammation, and this internship would be an opportunity to have a major impact on how these programs advance, as well as to experience how biotherapeutic drug development is done at a large pharmaceutical company.
Would it be possible for you to circulate this job description to Biology Department undergraduates or post it on a departmental job board? Interested students can contact Adam Root or me directly if they have questions.
Thank you very much,
Laird Bloom
