Relay For Life is the American Cancer Society’s largest annual fundraiser and MIT Colleges Against Cancer’s main event of the year. It is 12 hours of free food, fun, and team activities, as well as a celebration of those affected by cancer – survivors, caretakers, friends, family, and individuals currently fighting the disease. Last year, MIT Relay For Life raised over $85,000, had over 1,000 participants, and we’re hoping to go even further this year! This year, Relay For Life will be held at the MIT Johnson Track in the Zesiger Center (120 Vassar St, W35, Cambridge) all night from 6pm to 6am on March 9-10, 2013. Relay For Life is a night for the entire community to come together: undergraduates, graduates, professors, and alums. Throughout the night, there will be live performances by MIT student groups, workshops, fun&games, and speakers including Professor Tyler Jacks of the Koch Institute and MIT student cancer survivors.

Sign up/registration for Relay is found at relayforlife.org/mit<http://relayforlife.org/mit>

Please let me know if there would be members of the Course 7 community who would like to step up to be more involved in this year's event. Thanks!

Best,
Priyanka
