> REPORTS TO: Arts Department Chairperson and Chief Financial Officer

> SUMMARY: Teaches Grades R - 9 creative design; Oversees the Innovation Lab; Theater Manager.

> ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following (other duties to be assigned):

> Innovation Lab Teacher and Overseer – Reporting to: Arts Department Chairman
> Designs and implements innovative design curriculum for grades R - 9 in coordination with all faculty, including but not limited to woodworking, robotics, applied technology, 3-D design, and other technologies
> Develops positive relationships with children
> Develops 21st Century learning skills across the curriculum, teaching critical thinking and problem-solving skills through a project oriented program
> Collaborates with all departments
> Maintains all tools, equipment and supplies in the Lab
> Writes and maintains safety protocols
> Participates in pertinent department and division meetings
> Seeks professional development to maintain leading edge curriculum
> Maintains a healthy, safe learning environment
> Maintains web presence on school website

> Theater Director – Reporting to: Chief Financial Officer
> Provides AV/IT technical support for the theater
> Offers technical support for all theater productions and events from assemblies to stage productions, and any on-campus school-sponsored events for various departments and school groups
> Maintains calendar for theater use
> Works collaboratively with the Maintenance Department for all theater and kiva set-ups and break downs
> Supports student training in theater sound and lighting skills
> Vets proposals for rentals for both the school year and summer use of the facilities in coordination with the Auxiliary Programs Director
> Ensures proper maintenance of the theatrical equipment systems in the theater
> Complies with all legal and insurance requirements as per the Business Office

> Preferred Education and/or Experience:
