2013 Student Loan Art Program Exhibition and Lottery

Exhibition: September 3 - 15

Gallery Hours:  12-6PM Daily

MIT undergraduate and graduate students may enter a lottery to borrow a framed artwork at no cost from the List Visual Arts Center Student Art Collection for the 2013-2014 academic year. Although only MIT students may borrow artwork, the exhibition is open to the general public.  All are welcome.

Major support for the Student Loan Art Program has been provided by Vera G. List, MIT's Campus Activities Complex, MIT List Friends of Boston Art, the Artists Resource Trust of the Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation, and endowments generously established by John Taylor and Alan May. The Graduate Student Reception is supported by Student Life Fees and Christine Ortiz, Dean for Graduate Students.  New acquisitions to the Student Loan Art Collection were also made possible by major funding from a special allocation from the Council for the Arts at MIT in honor of its 40th anniversary with additional gifts from Gerald Appelstein, Karen & Greg Arenson, Eran and Feigue Broshy, Rhea Cohen, Colleen Messing, L Nichols and Christina Chestnut, Jane Pappalardo, John and Cynthia Reed and Sarah Sarvis and Federico Milla.
