D.E. Shaw Research Information Session
Sep. 20, 6 pm, Room 56-614
Presented by David Borhani (’82, PhD ’86, course 5) & Adam Lerer (’09, courses 6.3 & 8)
MIT Biology students and postdoctoral fellows are invited, both those who are just want to learn about DESRES and especially those interested in internships, post-doctoral fellowships, or permanent positions at DESRES. We will present a general overview of who we are, how we are using hardware-accelerated molecular dynamics simulations to study all kinds of biological systems, and more broadly the science and engineering that excites us. We will also present DESRES’s long-term goal of revolutionizing how drug discovery is conducted.
