Dear students -

The Biology Undergraduate Committee is soliciting nominations from faculty for students to speak at the Biology Undergraduate Research Symposium on Thursday, January 30th from 1-5pm. The Symposium is a means to honor top students for outstanding research effort. The committee will select students to submit an abstract and present a talk on their research.

If you would like to speak at the Symposium, please contact your faculty supervisor and mentor, especially if you are working in a nonBiology faculty member's lab. Any course 7 or 6/7 student who is doing a UROP, participating in a project lab, or taking 7.18 is eligible to be nominated. Letters from your faculty supervisor and mentor are due to the Education Office (jdchang at mit.edu) by Friday, November 30th.

Best wishes,
Janice Chang
For the Undergraduate Committee
