ATTENTION MIT PREHEALTH STUDENTS!
November is here, and so are a number of helpful Prehealth Events. We have events to help you with everything from discovering the Prehealth track at MIT, to integrating your Prehealth and major courses, to identifying summer options, to learning about MD-PhD training.
REGISTER FOR and ATTEND the following November Prehealth Events:
· To register in advance, visit MIT CareerBridge at www.myinterfase.com/mit/student/<http://www.myinterfase.com/mit/student/>, click on the "Events" tab, and select "Workshop" from the "Category" drop-down menu. You will see a full list of Fall workshops. Click on the workshop you'd like to register for.
Prehealth Academic Advising Night (FOR ALL CLASS YEARS)
Tuesday, November 6, 6-7:30 p.m., Room 4-145
15-20 minute drop-in sessions will be offered with upperclassmen and the Prehealth Advising staff to provide premed/prehealth students with guidance and assistance in selecting and incorporating prehealth courses with their major.
MIT Prehealth Orientation (FOR FRESHMEN, SOPHOMORES, INDIVIDUALS EXPLORING PREHEALTH)

Thinking about applying to medical school? Learn how to prepare for application to medical/health profession school, and about the resources available through MIT Prehealth Advising.
Prehealth Summer Options Workshop (FOR ALL CLASS YEARS)
Wednesday, November 14, 12-1 p.m., Room 4-159
This information session will discuss summer options for individuals interested in exploring careers in the health professions. We will review the benefits of participating in the Summer Medical and Dental Education Program, as well as internships, research, and volunteer opportunities. We will also discuss the application process for summer programs.
MD-PhD Training: Is it Right for You? - Panel (FOR ALL CLASS YEARS)

Join administrators from Harvard, Washington University, Tufts, and UMass MD-PhD programs to discover whether an MD-PhD is the right career track for you and to learn about how to be a competitive applicant.
