Dear Biology Majors:

REMINDER: important deadlines coming up for registration and graduation:

Pre-registration for IAP 2012 and Spring 2013 is now open on WebSIS<http://student.mit.edu/cgi-docs/student.html>

All continuing students are required to pre-register including those only registering for thesis or research units.

Deadlines<http://mit.edu/registrar/calendar/index.html> are as follows:

IAP 2012
Pre-register for IAP by Monday, January 4th. After this you can make changes to your IAP registration by:

  *   using add/drop forms
  *   requesting drops through e-mail to records at mit.edu<mailto:records at mit.edu>;
  *   asking the instructor to either add you to the grade sheet or drop you when they submit grades.


Spring Term 2013
Pre-register for spring as completely as possible by 5:00 pm on Friday, December 28th. Once you have submitted your pre-registration, you may modify your subject selections on WebSIS until pre-registration closes at 5:00 pm on Tuesday, January 22nd. You will be assessed a late fee of $50 if you do not initiate your pre-registration by December 28th. There is an $85 late fee if you fail to pre-register by the January 22nd deadline.

When pre-registering, please take a moment to review and update your address and emergency records also located on WebSIS.

June 2013 Degree Application
The online degree application<http://mit.edu/registrar/graduation/checklist.html> for June 2013 is now open for business.The deadline to submit is Friday, February 8.
