Dear Course 7 Majors,

It was nice to meet many of you at the recent class dinners we hosted. I hope you are all off to a great start on your semester.

I'm writing today because in the Bio Education Office we often get requests from prospective high school students to visit the campus and meet with current biology students to ask questions and possibly tour lab space and other facilities. I'm putting together a list of undergraduate volunteers to who are willing to occasionally meet with these prospective student for thirty minutes or so. If you are interested in volunteering, please get back to with your general availability. I will add your name to this list and forward you requests as they arise.

To this point, I have a request from a high school student, Lauren Tang, who will be on campus on the afternoon of Thursday, November 10th, and the morning of Friday, November 11th. Although it is hard to plan so many weeks in advance, if any of you know you'll be available during these dates and times and is willing to spend some time with Lauren, please let me know at your earliest convenience.

Many thanks, this is greatly appreciated.
Joyce
