Please pass the word about a special lecture by Salman Khan -- the founder of www.khanacademy.org<http://www.khanacademy.org/> -- Today November 17, at 7 pm in 32-123 (Kirsch auditorium in Stata). Khan's lecture -- "Rethinking Learning" -- is open to members of the MIT student community only.

With three MIT degrees behind him (Course VI and XVIII SBs, and a Course VI MNG), Khan is pioneering new models of education delivery and learning among K-12 students. Using very simple production techniques -- tablet drawings with informal (yet highly informed) narrations -- Khan has created 2,800 5- to 15-minute lectures that have drawn more than 90 million views on Khan Academy's YouTube channel.
