Dear Biology Majors,

As the new Undergraduate Assistant in the Biology Education Office, I would like to introduce myself, and express my eagerness to meet you all and work with you over the coming academic year.

I'm also writing to today to find out if any of you are going to be in the local area this summer, and would, perhaps, be available to occasionally meet with prospective students who are visiting the MIT campus to answer questions and show them around the facilities, such as labs you may be working in. If you are able and willing, please let me know of your general availability.

We already have one such request from a high school junior, Goutham Kandru, from Texas who will be on campus from June 6th to June 9th. He is primarily interested in molecular biology and pre-med studies. So, if any of you have some time on these dates and are able to meet Goutham, please get back to me at your earliest convenience.

Thank you very much.

Best,
Joyce
