Research Assistant Position for the Sengupta Lab
We are looking for a dedicated, full-time research assistant interested in studying cancer biology and nanomedicine. Our research focuses on exploring mechanisms of metastasis and angiogenesis in tumor progression, and the clinical relevance of these processes. Current projects include developing a three-dimensional model for understanding tumor-vasculature interactions, and analyzing biomechanical characteristics of cancer stem cell populations.
* Opportunities also exist to work with a multidisciplinary team to study anti-tumor nanomaterials
* Ideal for students and recent graduates planning to pursue a medical or graduate degree
* Prior experience in biology or bioengineering lab work required, and familiarity with cell culture and molecular biology techniques is highly desired
* Preference given to candidates willing to commit at least 2 years
