Greetings, and hope that you are enjoying your winter break. Here is
information on upcoming undergraduate events and Registration Day
this semester.
The Biology Undergraduate Research Symposium is on Thursday, January
31st 1-5pm in 68-181. Come hear your fellow biology students speak
on their research!
Registration Day is Monday, February 4th. Please make arrangements
to meet with your advisor to sign your registration form. Financial
holds on your account will need to be resolved before you can
register.
Sophomore and Junior Class dinner meetings with Professors Hazel Sive
and Michael Hemann, of the Undergraduate Committee.
Sophomore Class dinner - Monday, February 4th 5-6:30pm in 68-181

Other Upcoming dates:
The Biology Undergraduate Howard Hughes Symposium with speaker Dr.
Craig Mello, Nobel Prize Winner, from UMass Amherst will be on
Thursday, March 20th at 4pm, Whitehead Auditorium.
Biology UROP and Mentoring Program (BUMP) meeting on Monday, April
7th 5-6:30pm in 68-181.
There will be an Applying to Med School Meeting on Wednesday, April
16th, 5-6pm in 68-181.
The Biology Undergraduate Dinner in honor of graduating seniors will
be on Thursday, May 1st, 6pm at the Faculty Club. This dinner is for
all biology majors. Please mark your calendars and plan on joining
us!
