>Are you wondering what the best career path is for you? Do you want
>to explore different fields of interest, but are unsure where to
>start? Do you want to return to MIT in the fall with greater
>clarity about your direction? The MIT Careers Office is offering a
>2-part workshop for undergraduates to help you identify career areas
>of interest and create a plan to explore options over the summer.
>
>Part I (May 5) will include exercises that help you identify those
>aspects of yourself most likely to help you make good career
>decisions. For homework following this session you will be asked to
>take the Strong Interest Inventory, which takes about 20-30 minutes,
>online.
>
>In Part II (May 7) we will go over the results from the Strong as a
>group. The Strong is an assessment tool that will help you identify
>prominent areas of vocational interest; it also suggests specific
>occupations - as well as college activities - that might be of
>interest to you. We will then talk about how to use all of this
>information and how to explore some career options over the summer.
>
>Please note there is a cost associated with taking this workshop:
>$15, payable at the first session.
>To register, please go to http://web.mit.edu/career/www/events/workshops.html
