I am writing to inform/remind you of the last 2 remaining talks in
the Biology department IAP talk series, "Stem cells and Regenerative
Biology"
This Thursday, Feb 1, Dr. Sangeeta Bhatia, from MIT and head of the
Laboratory for Multiscale Regenerative Technologies will speak at
3:30pm in the Whitehead Institute auditorium. Friday (Feb 2) Dr. Amy
Wagers from Harvard medical school will speak about stem cells of the
blood and muscle (3:30 at the Whitehead auditorium).
The speakers are leaders in their fields and it should be a great
introduction to regenerative biology, tissue engineering, and stem
cells. To date talks have been targeted to a wide audience, including
the most recent data from the lab of the speakers, and I would
anticipate the events being highly appropriate and of interest to
Biology majors at all levels. I hope you will be able to attend.
Sincerely,
Peter Reddien
