[bioundgrd] Undergraduate Research Symposium - Call for nominations

Dear Undergraduate students:

The Biology Undergraduate Research Symposium will be held on Thursday 
afternoon, January 31, 2008 from 1-5pm. The Symposium is a key part 
of the Biology Undergraduate Program and a means to honor our top 
students for outstanding research effort.

Biology faculty are being asked to nominate students to speak at the 
Symposium.  The deadline for nominations is Monday, December 10th. 
If you are participating in a UROP and would like to speak at the 
Symposium, please let your mentors know so that they can submit a 
nomination to the Undergraduate Committee.

Speakers will submit an abstract and present a 15 minute talk. 
Speakers will receive a certificate to acknowledge their 
participation.

Please reserve Thursday, Jan 31, 2003 1-5pm on your calendars.
