This message is from Fran Chaput in 68-132.
Please stop by her office (headquarters in bldg
68) to place orders. I think these are the
bunches that come closed and open up over several
days. they're really nice and cheerful and would
be great if you're trying to impress someone or
show a little affection. :)

Hello!

I am going to serve as the 2006 Daffodil Days Coordinator for Biology.

Daffodil Days at MIT 2006 is celebrated during
the month of February. You can sign up to order
a bouquet of daffodils on the Sign up Sheet on
the table in front of my desk. The Bouquets cost
$7.00. Make your check out to the American
Cancer Society.
The Daffodil Bouquets will be delivered on
Wednesday, March 22th, the week before Spring
Break.

You can also buy a Gift of Hope for $20. This
generous contribution will enable us to send a
vase of daffodils to patients who are at Mount
Auburn Hospital and MGH being treated for cancer.
It is a way of letting them know they are not
alone in their fight against this disease. The
vase of flowers will be delivered with a message
that someone from MIT has made a contribution to
the fight against cancer and is sending them
these daffodils, in the hope they will win their
fight against cancer.

This year the American Cancer Society has added a
Byrne Bear and a bouquet of Daffodils for $25.

Daffodil Days, sponsored by the MIT Womenís
League, has raised almost $150,000 in the last 8
years through the sale of Daffodil Bouquets at
the Institute.

Please drop by my desk if you are interested in
taking part in Daffodil Days at MIT 2006. Your
participation will bring HOPE to those fighting
cancer. YOU can make a difference! Thank you!
