Dear graduating MIT senior--

Have you (1) already had positive productive UROP research
experiences in biology, and (2) are considering taking a year or two
off to work as a research technician before going to graduate or
medical school? I may have an interesting opportunity for you.

I am a post-doc in Rick Young's lab at MIT, and I recently accepted a
job at a new research institute in Cambridge England that (in
contrast to many US labs recently) has lots of funding, including
technician lines (see signature file link).

I am in search of a talented, ambitious graduating MIT senior in Bio
or Bioengineering to work with me as a founding member of my
laboratory before moving on to graduate or medical school. It would
be a great opportunity to live in a foreign country, to travel in
Europe, and to earn an additional strong faculty recommendation.
Ideally, I would like to hire someone this summer to learn the
experimental protocols we will need in England, and move to England
between October and December of 2006. These details can be
negotiated, of course.

If you are interested, send me your CV and the names of the lab head
and lab members you worked with on your UROP projects by 10 May 2006.

Hope to hear from you soon!
