Dear Biology majors:
Due to the high enrollment in 7.18 Topics in Experimental Biology
this past fall semester, the department is considering whether or not
there will be a need to limit enrollment in 7.18 during the spring,
or if two 7.18 sessions will be needed.
If you are planning to take 7.18 in the spring, please let me know as
soon as possible. This information is needed for planning purposes.
If only one 7.18 session is offered next semester, some students may
not be able to take the class because of limited space.
The requirements for taking 7.18 can be found at:
http://web.mit.edu/biology/www/undergrad/7.18.html.
During the spring there will also be two other project lab courses
that will be taught - 7.16 (Professors Chris Burge and David
Sabatini) and 7.17 (Professors Mary-Lou Pardue and Franki Gertler).
Both of these project labs also fulfill the biology course 7
requirement for the degree.
Pleae feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
Best wishes,
Janice
