Research Associate

Location: Gaithersburg, Maryland

Openings for Research Associates.  Candidates will have a B.S. or 
M.S. with a concentration in Cellular or Molecular Biology or 
Biochemistry.  Research Associates are primarily involved in 
experimental design and execution.  Accurate quantification, record 
keeping, attention to detail, written communication and an ability to 
present summary reports orally are all requirements of the position. 

The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of laboratory experience and 
be familiar with Western blots, ELISA assays and the use of 
antibodies in general.  Prior experience with intracellular 
phosphoproteins is highly desirable.

Business Development Associate

Location: Gaithersburg, Maryland

Work as part of the Business Development team in order to 
strategically identify potential business development opportunities 
for novel bio-detection technology. Investigate and maintain market 
research for business plan and new business opportunities. Create and 
update financial models to justify new business opportunities. Work 
with Sales & Marketing team to align customer needs and potential 
business development opportunities with existing commercial product 
line. Collaborate with Legal and Finance to negotiate favorable terms 
for all new business development, customer, and vendor contracts.

Candidates must have excellent analytical and computer skills; 
financial modeling experience is preferred. Natural sciences 
(biology, chemistry, etc.) or engineering experience is a plus but 
not mandatory. Ideal candidate will have a BA/BS degree and strong 
written and verbal communication skills.
