Dear Biology undergraduates:
We are evaluating the athena resources that are available in the
Biology undergraduate lounge and would appreciate if you have any
thoughts or the comments on the Athena machines in the lounge.
1) Do you use the athena machines in the undergraduate lounge, and
see a decline, increase or consistent level of your use on Athena
machines in the Biology undergraduate lounge?
2) What technology (other than Athena systems) would be valuable,
assuming IS&T/Academic Computing were in a position to provide the
require technology. This could include image capturing devices, large
displays (37" flat panels), scanners, etc.?
3) Are there Athena machines 4 or more years old that you would like
to have upgraded? If so, would you prefer Linux Athena, Unix Athena,
WinAthena or something entirely different?
Thank you.
Janice
