[Bioundgrd] two new virus warnings, PC USERS

Two new variations of the recent viruses "Bagle" and "Netsky" are
circulating widely. Both spread by email attachment and both spoof
(forge) the "From" field in emails, thus appearing to be from someone
you know or someone who might be from MIT ("colleague at mit.edu", for
instance).

In the case of Netsky, advantage is being taken of a vulnerability in
Internet Explorer versions 5.01 and 5.5. Please run Windows Update to
be sure you have the current patches for IE.

If your Viruscan has not yet updated for today, please manually update now!

And yes, here's the virus rant :-)
As always, NEVER NEVER open attachments from someone you don't know;
even if an attachment APPEARS to be from a friend or colleague but
you're not expecting anything from that person, check with the sender
before opening. The "from" field can be forged by the virus.
