Dear Planetary scientists in the Boston Area,
The Center for Space Physics, Boston University, has organised a SPICE training class in Boston.
The class will last for 3 days: it will start on February 20th and end on February 22nd. It will take place at the Boston Marriott Copley Place.
If you are not already familiar with it, “SPICE” is an observation geometry information system offered by NASA's Navigation and Ancillary Information Facility (NAIF). It is used to identify the positions and orientations of various solar system bodies for observation planning and interpretation. You can find more information at the SPICE homepage:
https://naif.jpl.nasa.gov/naif/index.html
Representatives from NAIF occasionally hold SPICE training classes at their facilities, but will also travel and provide off-site training if there is enough interest.
We only have a few places left in the class, hence, if you are interested in attending this SPICE training in Boston, please contact me and Phillip Phipps as soon as possible at

Thank you for your attention
Best regards,
