The goal of this Community Day Workshop is to provide support for researchers who are interested in proposing for SOFIA during the NASA funded SOFIA Cycle 6 Call for Proposals. The Call was released at the beginning of May (https://www.sofia.usra.edu/science/proposing-and-observing/proposal-calls/cycle-6<https://www.google.com/url?q=https://www.sofia.usra.edu/science/proposing-and-observing/proposal-calls/cycle-6&sa=D&ust=1496312781826000&usg=AFQjCNHHSqQ57rJfGwzvVKIDIxTU7o8vRw>), The deadline for the proposal submission is June 30, 2017, 21:00 PDT. In addition to some SOFIA science highlights, the workshop will cover the observatory capabilities and the proposal preparation. If there are any particular topics related to SOFIA or the Cycle 6 Call that you would like covered during the workshop then please let us know via this registration form. Registration is not required, but helps the organizers.
