Hi All,
We are having a special seminar that is joint with the 16.851 graduate
Satellite Engineering course on Tuesday from Noon to 1:00 pm in 33-218.
Henry Hallam and Ben Howard from *Planet Labs* https://www.planet.com/ will
be speaking about:
* "Fork It, Fly It: A software development approach to satellite design."*
Planet Labs have launched dozens of CubeSats for Earth observation in the
past year, and are leading a paradigm shift in satellite engineering.
Please post and distribute this flyer and information to others who may be
interested and RSVP to kcahoy at mit.edu by 9 pm today, Mon 9/29, if you plan
to attend because space in 33-218 is expected to be limited. There will
also be a pizza lunch available (feel free to also bring your own lunch or
head to/from the Community Picnic that is running in Killian Court until 2
pm).
Best,
Kerri
