Dear Boston planetary scientists,
A colleague of mine at NASA-MSFC, Barb Cohen, is tangentially involved
with an event going on at WPI from today until Sunday.
"Autonomous robots created by 11 teams of engineers from across the
country will compete for a NASA prize purse of $1.5 million on the
campus of Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI), in Worcester, Mass.,
June 14 -17. The challenge: design and develop the next generation of
robots to explore the landscapes of other worlds."

If you are interested in cheering on the contestants, please contact
Barb at barbara.a.cohen at nasa.gov, who will pass your name along to the
organizers. This is all a bit last minute, so no guarantees that the
organizers will be able to give you access.
Paul
