1. EVENT PLANNING WORKSHOP

Events are essential to most organizations--they are used to raise
money, celebrate your mission or purpose, recognize accomplishments,
and provide a forum for idea exchange and as a vehicle for education.
With such a variety of purposes, understanding the how-to of
successful event planning is an essential tool. Learn how to run
planning meetings, develop a budget, seek donations, manage
volunteers, produce task lists, assemble needed materials, seek
publicity, work with vendors, and anticipate human behavior.
Information on planning events on MIT'ss campus will be highlighted.
Open to MIT students, faculty and staff.


2. POSTERING
The construction in the Infinite Corridor has completed and the public
bulletin boards there are again available.  Please remember to follow
all Public Advertising Guidelines, outlined at:

3. OFFICE SPACE MOVING DAY
If your group has been allocated a different space in the new Office
Space Allocations cycle, the move date is this Saturday, January 9.
Please direct any questions about the moving process to
asa-office at mit.edu.
