[Asa-official] Final Bulletin Board Allocations, Policy Revisions

ASA Exec asa-exec at MIT.EDU

Dear Student Groups,

The final bulletin board allocations are currently posted at
http://web.mit.edu/asa/resources/bulletin-board-alloc.html. The new
assignments will apply starting on January 10, 2007. Groups whose
bulletin board assignments have changed must remove the contents of
their board by January 10th. If members of your group will not be back
on campus by this date, please remove the contents of the board before
the Fall Term Finals Week ends (December 22).

In addition, the ASA has defined policy on conflicts of interest among
ASA board members, property of defunct/derecognized student groups,
agreements between student groups, monetary transactions between student
groups, and student groups' responsibility to follow MIT's
Non-Discrimination Clause. We have revised the ASA Operating Guidelines
to include these policies; the revised document can be found at
http://web.mit.edu/asa/rules/asa-guidelines.html.

If you have questions, please feel free to email asa-exec at mit.edu
(publically archived list). You may email asa-president at mit.edu if you
would like your email to remain private. Keep in mind that the members
of the ASA are students, so please excuse delayed responses to email
during the final weeks of the semester.

Best of luck with the end of the semester and Finals Week! Enjoy your
winter break and happy holidays!

Sincerely,
The ASA Executive Board
