Hi AAA!
We hope your semester and midterms are going smoothly 😊
We wanted to forward you an awesome opportunity to meet author Min Jin Lee (Pachinko) who will visit MIT as a keynote speaker on October 28th!
Dear students,
We hope that your semester is off to a good start! We are excited to share big news and invite your participation in a unique event!
On October 28th the MIT Human Insight Collaborative<https://shass.mit.edu/human-insight-collaborative/#Funds>, a culmination of decades of attempts to establish a center around the humanities, social sciences, and arts at MIT, will be launched. It is a historic moment and you can be part of it!
The Keynote speaker will be Min Jin Lee, the author of Pachinko. We are now looking for students who would like to participate in a 1 hour Q&A with Min Jin Lee on October 28th from 1 to 2 PM or also attend her keynote at 4 PM that afternoon and contribute to the Q & A then. This is the only student event at the launch, so it’s a precious opportunity.
If you’re a fan already or would like to become a fan of this book, which already has a cult-status of sorts, please don’t miss this opportunity to interview Min Jin Lee.
Please register here<https://forms.gle/1e1FaHAAyBdnS6p37> if you would like to participate in the Q&A with Min Jin Lee. The space is limited and it’s first-come-first-serve.
For those of you who haven’t read the book yet, we are giving out free copies next week. And we’ll meet closer to the launch for a collective brainstorming session with light snacks and refreshments.
Looking forward to shaping this historic launch with you!
Best regards,
Jeong Hee-jeong
