Dear members of the Asian American Association,

We sincerely hope this email finds you all safe & healthy. With the devastating news of the murder of eight individuals, including 6 Asian and Asian American women in Atlanta, we want you to know that the VPR advocacy team stands with you. We know that when violence occurs, even to those we may not know, it can trigger our own experiences. The incidents don't have to be the same for there to be an impact. We also know that someone doesn't have to be a survivor of violence to feel impacted by events like these. Any response, or no response, is perfectly normal.

Please know that you can reach out to us via the helpline at 617-253-2300 (M-F, 9-5), whether to talk in the moment or to schedule an appointment with one of us. We are here to support you all, as individuals, and also as a community.
