2017 FULL-TIME ANALYST – REAL ESTATE ACQUISITIONS
Location: Tokyo, Japan



Job Description

As an Analyst, your job is to assist the managers to evaluate and execute real estate investment transactions. You will work with a highly skilled team of dedicated professionals who will provide you with broad exposure to the world of cross-border real estate investment transactions and the complex issues that come with the industry. This position is based in Tokyo, Japan.

Analysts are fully integrated members of deal teams. You will be provided with hands-on training in topics including Modeling, Real Estate, Presentations, Compliance, Structuring, and more to prepare you for your job responsibilities and the challenges that are a part of international transactions.



Responsibilities
§  Research and assess local markets, country-specific and international economic and property market trends
§  Manage the pipeline database of potential acquisitions
§  Model cash flow projections and scenarios and performance of sensitivity and risk analyses
§  Evaluate financing proposals and alternatives
§  Develop investment memos and investor pitchbooks/ presentations
§  Conduct physical site and market inspections
§  Assist in the analysis of legal documents such as lease agreements, purchase and sale agreements, loan agreements, and other real estate and transaction documents



Qualifications
§  Bachelor’s degree from a top-tier institution with high academic performance
§  The ability to apply your mathematical and analytical skills to real world scenarios
§  Exceptional communication skills, demonstrated capacity for teamwork and fluency in English
§  Japanese written and spoken fluency preferred



Requirements
§  Currently enrolled as an undergraduate student
§  Anticipated graduation date: Fall 2016 – Spring 2017
§  Resume must include expected graduation month/year and GPA
§  Expected start date: August 2017
