*MIT Asian American Association Elections*
Thursday, April 2nd // Baker D, 9:30pm

Get involved in planning great events like... Grains of Rice, Holiday
Coffeehouse, Dim Sum on Campus, Korean BBQ, and more!

Come join AAA this Thursday, vote and enjoy some delicious buns and boba on
the side!

 by *Thursday, April 2nd at 6pm*
with the position(s) you'd like to run for and a short platform (which will
be distributed to members at elections) detailing what qualifies you for
the position.

During elections you will also have the opportunity to give a 2 minute
speech.

You may run for multiple positions, but please submit a platform for each
position you run for. Write-ins will be accepted day of but will not be
printed on the ballot.

*Available positions:*

*Director of Cultural Events (2):* Oversees planning of Grains of Rice
(largest annual cultural banquet), Nightmarket (collaborative cultural
event in the fall), and any other cultural events he/she is interested in
organizing.

*Director of Career and Political Issues (1): *Plans events geared toward
career and political issues related to Asian Americans. Manages
corporate/recruiting relations.

*Director of Social Events (2):* Oversees planning of cultural dinners,
mixers, and/or other social events.

*Director of Community Service (1): *Manages relationships with non-profit
organizations. Plans community service events for AAA members.

*Director of Publicity (2):* Manages publicity for AAA events. Designs
posters, ad campaigns, emails, etc.

*Webmaster (1): Maintains AAA website and helps with Facebook Page.*

*Historian (1): Helps keep a photo record of events.*
