[AAA] CSC Bone Marrow Potential Matching Drive

Hi all,

The Chinese Students Club is running their second annual Bone Marrow
Potential Matching Drive today (Tuesday 11/26) in La Sala (2nd floor
Student Center) from 10am-5pm. For those of you unfamiliar with the
problem, there is currently a huge shortage of potential Asian American
donors for those currently in need. CSC has been trying to alleviate this
problem by hosting this matching drive at MIT to find as many potential
donors as possible.

If you have time tomorrow, please swing by the second floor of the student
center to participate in the drive. It honestly takes no time at all: a
quick cotton swab of your inner cheek and a short form is all it takes. The
cheek swab gets sent off to a lab where they determine if there's even a
potential match, so *participation is not a commitment to anything*. Swing
by and join the effort to maximize the number of life-saving matches
possible!

Cheers,
Tuan

MIT CSC's Second Annual Bone Marrow Drive!

11/26 (Today)
10am-5pm, La Sala (2nd floor Student Center)

Did you know that Asian Americans needing a bone marrow transplant only
match with about 7% of all potential adult donors? Last year, CSC's bone
marrow drive found 3 life-saving matches. All it takes is a simple cheek
swab. Please stop by today and join the registry!
