Hi Catherline!

I hope this message finds you well.

I am the Fellowships/Internships graduate assistant in the Public Service Center and I was hoping you can pass this message along to students in the Physics department The deadline is almost a month away, so I am hoping to spread the word as much as I can!

Thanks so much for this!
Jen

Here is the announcement for students:

Hi Physics Students

I hope this message finds you well. My name is Jen and I work in the Public Service Center. Please see the announcement below regarding Public Service Center funded fellowships and internships opportunities. If you are graduating, you can still apply! We are able to fund students for up to 3 months after graduating. If you've received a PSC fellowship before, you can still apply for another one, especially if you are continuing a capacity-building project. Below is the institutional announcement. PLEASE let Alison (or me) know if you have any questions regarding your proposal, or project idea. Take care- Jen

PUBLIC SERVICE CENTER FUNDED FELLOWSHIP AND INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES FOR THE SUMMER!
The Fellowships and Internships programs both support MIT students working on capacity-building service projects. Students work with community-focused organizations such as non-profits, schools, and social enterprises.

 In both programs, you can:
    * Work by yourself, or as part of a small team
    * Create a project from scratch, or find project ideas and community partners on our website
    * Work locally, nationally, or internationally. For IAP, we particularly encourage projects in the Americas (including the US).

Applications for Summer projects must be submitted by noon on Friday, March 23rd.

Find more information about both programs at http://mit.edu/mitpsc/whatwedo/internshipsandfellowships/

Looking for project ideas? Check-out the PSC's opportunities page http://web.mit.edu/opps
