[Physics opps] IAP = Application for Summer Opps. time

During January, make it your mission to look through all of the gazillion 
REU opportunities listed at:
http://www.nsf.gov/crssprgm/reu/reu_search.cfm
Don't just look at the Physics options. There are lots of closely related 
fields. Many of the deadlines are in January, so you should spend some 
time looking through the various programs soon.
