Dear Professor Bertschinger:

Every student in Rhode Island deserves a highly-qualified teacher in their
classrooms. RI desperately needs outstanding individuals with strong
physics skills to join our network of educators who are committed to raising
student achievement in Rhode Island.

Your students are ready to make a difference. Through Rhode Island Teaching
Fellows, your students who will have at least a BA in their field by June
2010 can apply to become a trained and certified teacher in one of RI's
high-need schools. Note - education coursework is not required to apply.

Fellows will be instrumental in closing the achievement gap and cultivating
the next generation of Rhode Island's scientists.

Please forward this email on to any students, campus leaders, colleagues,
and friends who may be interested in learning more about Rhode Island
Teaching Fellows and how they can be part of the movement to close the
achievement gap in RI.

Thank you in advance for sharing this message and referring potential
applicants to <http://www.RhodeIslandTeachingFellows.org>
www.RhodeIslandTeachingFellows.org to learn more about how they can join our
community of dedicated educators in RI's high-need classrooms.

Kind regards,

Michael
