As an MIT alumnus, I wanted to be sure that all interested undergraduate and
graduate students know about opportunities at the D. E. Shaw group.  As
such, I was hoping you might be able to pass along the email below.  I've
included a few details about our culture, as well as information on our
upcoming information session and how to apply for an interview.  If you have
the chance, please forward this message on to students in the Physics
