Job description:
The job is to electronically replot figures for a planetary physics text
book. The Figures are taken from published papers or other textbooks, but
for formatting and copyright reasons the figures need to be reproduced.
Figures are in jpg and/or eps format. The first step is extracting the data
in the figures, possibly by using "GraphClick" software. The second step is
plotting the data and creating figures in a specified format (black and
white, specific font type and size, etc.). Any plotting software can be used
as long as the format can conform to the standard. There are about 30
figures in total. Payment is $50 per figure, for a total of $1500. Deadline
is August 28. Please contact Professor Seager at seager at mit.edu before
August 4.
