in the MIT Global Education and Career Development Center.  I am forwarding
on an announcement for a Prehealth Orientation event that is happening

PREHEALTH ORIENTATION
Tuesday, February 24th
7:00-8:00 p.m.

This orientation session will review the services offered by Preprofessional
Advising and discuss how to best explore and prepare for careers in the
health professions.  This session is best suited for freshmen, sophomores or
individuals just starting to explore the path to medical, dental, or other
health profession schools.  Everyone is welcome-undergraduates, graduate
students, and alums.  

Advanced sign-up requested, however walk-ins are permitted based on

MD/PhD Programs Panel (HARVARD SPONSORED EVENT)

Location: Fong Auditorium (Boylston Hall 110) in Harvard Yard 

The combined MD/PhD program aims to expose students to both medical and
science training. Such exposure should allow students to use their
graduate-level training in basic sciences to solve the problems pertaining
to human health and biology. If you are interested in both academic research
and medicine, then coming to the Boston area MD/PhD Panel on Thursday,
February 26 will teach you more about this combined degree program and allow
you to make a more informed decision about pursuing both degrees.
