Dear MIT Sophomores and Juniors,

In order to meet these goals, we must recruit the most talented and creative students. We hope you will consider joining us through our fellowship and internship programs.

Accordingly, I'm pleased to announce the Merck Engineering and Technology and Merck MMD Diversity in Engineering Fellowships for 2013-2014. These programs represent great opportunities for internship experiences at one of Merck's locations during the summer of 2013 and also entail a $5,000 stipend toward your educational costs during the 2013-2014 academic year.

Please either scan and e-mail (preferred), or mail your completed application and associated materials to me, Brian Mickus (MERCK & CO., INC.; 770 SUMNEYTOWN PIKE WP53B-120; P.O. BOX 4; WEST POINT, PA 19486-0004), by Friday, December 14, 2012. See attached materials for additional information and instructions. Please note that this year, we are asking you to have only two of your three references send/email us letters of recommendation before the December 14, 2012 deadline.
