[2015] Upcoming Events

'15s,
   I'm Beth Murphy, and I'm your UA Vice President for this year! Before I
get to the exciting events we have coming up in the week, let me take a few
moments to introduce myself. I live in Baker, hope to study Course 22
(Nuclear Engineering), and am looking to get more involved in many MIT
groups, such as Habitat for Humanity and Intramural Sports. I'm really
excited to meet more people in our class! Ok, well I know you're not trying
to spend half your day reading my life story, so I'll move on.
   We have two pretty awesome events coming up, so be sure to mark your
calendar!

*Saturday, October 15 at 7 pm*: Campus Connections in *La Sala de Puerto
Rico*. This event brings together current '15s with alumni from the classes
of 1965 and 1990. It's an awesome chance to network with alumni, learn about
career opportunities, and meet some really interesting people who have done
amazing things. Don't miss this great opportunity!!

*Tuesday, October 18, 8-10 pm: *Free Pizza in the Student Center! Stop by
the indoor *3rd Floor Balcony* brought to you by your 2015 Class Council and
The Underclassmen Giving Campaign. The Underclassmen Giving Campaign will be
accepting donations for their fund that supports students doing work abroad
in underdeveloped nations, so if you can spare a few dollars,  they're a
great cause! But definitely come out for free pizza! And if you have a few
dollars to donate, the Underclassmen Giving Campaign will give you a
delicious cupcake! This is also a great opportunity for you to meet us, your
class council, so we hope you'll make it!
