Hi all. Thanks for responses.

1) Donna: URL in site admin (and phpmyadmin, just to be sure) is
http://mathroots.mit.edu. Configured correct and standard. See https://cl.ly/0g1n022p132T and https://cl.ly/0Z3T1A3f3G3t.

2) Jay: all plugins were disabled, but evidently, the WP Super Cache
cache was not deleted or ‘fully’ disabled. I tried doing that and then reenabling it and it seems like it works? If anyone could try to load
mathroots.mit.edu from a clean browser (i.e. one that has not tried to access it before) and confirm that it works it would be helpful.

Thanks, and fingers crossed….

For what it’s worth, for me, going to a subpage and then clicking the logo to go back to the homepage brings me to the same error page.
Hi Chris,

In your Admin Settings, what is the Site Address URL? And in your permalinks, what do you see?
Subject: [WebPub] wordpress support?

Hi all —

I’m wondering if anyone on webpub can provide — or knows someone who can provide — some support on a bizarre wordpress bug. We have a wordpress install setup at
http://mathroots.etc.mitadmissions.org, and recently had IS&T setup a CNAME
sohttp://mathroots.mit.edu resolves to that domain. Now, however, if you go to
http://mathroots.mit.edu, the website fails; if you go to any subpage, e.g.
http://mathroots.mit.edu/about/academics/, it works fine, and if you navigate back to the homepage from that page it works fine.

I’ve enabled/disabled caching; no change.

This only appears to effect the CNAME homepage. When I go to
http://mathroots.etc.mitadmissions.org/ it is fine.

Does anyone have any clue what is going on, or know anyone who can help me fix ASAP?

— Chris
