Justin.tv uses Twitter to let people know what Justin is up to, where he’s going, or what he’s doing.</SPAN></FONT><FONT class="Apple-style-span" face="Verdana"><SPAN class="Apple-style-span" style="line-height: normal;"><BR></SPAN></FONT><FONT class="Apple-style-span" face="Verdana"><SPAN class="Apple-style-span" style="line-height: normal;"><BR></SPAN></FONT><FONT class="Apple-style-span" face="Verdana"><SPAN class="Apple-style-span" style="line-height: normal;"> So basically I caved and joined. I figured hey, all the cool kids are jumping off the cliff, so I should too. I wrote my first “update” (which is limited to 140 characters) and added a few “friends” who I would like to get updates from. I can check online to see what my newfound peeps are up to, or I can have their updates sent to my mobile phone or IM account.</SPAN></FONT></SPAN></DIV><DIV style="margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; line-height: 16px; "><SPAN class="Apple-style-span" style="line-height: 16px;"><FONT class="Apple-style-span" face="Verdana"><SPAN class="Apple-style-span" style="line-height: normal;"><BR></SPAN></FONT><FONT class="Apple-style-span" face="Verdana"><SPAN class="Apple-style-span" style="line-height: normal;"> To be honest, I think this is a little more web 2.0 than I can handle. I’m down with editing wikipedia stubs and enjoy writing this blog, but is it really necessary for me to tell the world what I’m doing at every minute? Who really cares?</SPAN></FONT></SPAN></DIV><DIV style="margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; line-height: 16px; "><SPAN class="Apple-style-span" style="line-height: 16px;"><FONT class="Apple-style-span" face="Verdana"><SPAN class="Apple-style-span" style="line-height: normal;"><BR></SPAN></FONT><FONT class="Apple-style-span" face="Verdana"><SPAN class="Apple-style-span" style="line-height: normal;"> I did see that the </SPAN></FONT></SPAN><A href="http://www.web2expo.com/"><FONT class="Apple-style-span" face="Verdana"><FONT class="Apple-style-span" color="#AC5D5B">Web 2.0 Expo</FONT></FONT></A><SPAN class="Apple-style-span" style="line-height: 16px;"><FONT class="Apple-style-span" face="Verdana"><SPAN class="Apple-style-span" style="line-height: normal;"> was using Twitter to keep people updated on the conference schedule and track locations.
