<div><font face="Arial">The New England Theatre Conference (NETC), the
premiere Northeast regional's non-profit organization founded in 1952
by the legendary Boston drama critic Elliot Norton, announces a
spectacular weekend of programming and awards. </font><br>
</div>
<div><font face="Arial">From November 10-13, 2005 the luxurious
Sheraton Colonial Hotel and Golf Club in Wakefield, MA. will play host
to theatre enthusiasts from all over New England and New York.
Easily accessible from Routes 95/128, the convention offerings are
designed to offer the actor, dancer, auditionee, director, designer
and audience enthusiast an exciting array of Master Classes, workshops
and celebrations. Participants from five Divisional areas
including Professional, College, Community, Secondary and Children's
Theatre are preparing programming in support of this year's
convention theme,<i><b> THE ART OF MAKING ART - PUTTING IT
TOGETHER.</b></i></font><br>

<li></font>Illustrious theatrical performers and contributors to
receive awards at Saturday evening's Annual Awards Banquet<br>
<u>2005 NETC Major Award Honoree - Ms Betsy Palmer</u>, star of
theatre, film and television. Ms. Palmer will also be the
special guest speaker for the Annual Sunday Morning Brunch at
11:00AM.<br>
<u>2005 NETC Special Award Honoree - Keith Johnstone</u>, actor,
director, author, playwright and inventor of many new forms of
improvisation, including Theatresports, Micetro Impro, Gorilla Theatre
and The Life Game.</font></ul>

Laurence Maslon</u>, co-author with Michael Kantor of the companion
coffee table book to the six-part PBS hit documentary series<i><b>
