board that handles the administrative aspects of MIT’s over 400 student groups. This includes recognizing and de-recognizing groups, handling space allocations, organizing the twice-yearly Midway club fair, and allocating LEF and ARCADE funds. We represent
student voices in coordinating with the Student Activities Office (SAO) and the Campus Activities Complex (CAC) to advocate for student groups’ needs and enhance the student experience at MIT.</span></p>

and a graduate representative, as well as the GSC Treasurer and Finboard Chair. The Committee oversees the Large Event Fund and the Assisting Recurring Cultural and Diversity Events (ARCADE) Fund, deciding allocations for each on a semester basis. The Committee
works together to allocate available funds to student groups to support events outlined in each fund's guidelines and ratifies proposed allocations by a vote. The proposals of the Committee are then presented to the entire ASA Executive Board for ratification.
Throughout the funding cycle, members of the Committee are available via email to answer questions from student groups and at the end of the cycle review the spending of funded events. The

representative, and one graduate representative. The Committee oversees group recognition in the fall and spring, responding to groups that need further clarification before a decision is made. The Committee votes on how to proceed with each group, and proposed
approvals or rejections are presented to the ASA Executive Board for ratification. The Committee is responsible for the process of group re-recognition in the spring, tracking which groups have or have not completed the process, and communicating with the
SAO about the status of suspended or derecognized groups. The Committee also coordinates the fall Midway and CPW Midway, handling the applications for and organization of those events, with the final plan presented to and approved by the ASA Executive Board.

and provides a recommended set of student group space assignments for approval by the ASA Executive Board. The Committee is tasked with studying the use of student group space managed by the ASA, seeking opportunities to expand the spaces available to students
and student groups. The Committee is further responsible for handling all space-related questions posed to the ASA by student groups, and for resolving conflicts between space sharing groups or over postering violations with the support of the SAO. The student
representatives will be available to assist groups in coordinating maintenance and access issues with the CAC, and to remain up to date on current issues affecting student group spaces at large. The
